In 2001, the historical former winery in Mülheim an der Mosel was transformed into the wine romantic hotel Richtershof. Today, the four-star superior hotel is one of the best addresses in the region. In addition to the picturesque location in the vineyards, directly on the Moselle, it is above all the warm hospitality and the excellent cuisine that inspire our guests. Living history: a vineyard on the Middle Mosel becomes a hotel
Three epochs find their place in our over 300-year-old winery: elements from the Baroque and Wilhelminian periods as well as Art Nouveau are omnipresent in our extraordinary ensemble of buildings. These special features had to be preserved during the restoration. The credo was to integrate the new and the modern harmoniously and not to adapt the contemporary witnesses of the past. Thus, for example, the art nouveau ballroom could be taken over almost untouched. And the over 1700 square metre wine cellar also authentically tells the story of the former winery. Tribute is still paid to the original purpose in many details, from the naming of the rooms to the outstanding wine list.

The foundation stone for the transformation of the historic winery into a special hotel complex was laid in 2000. The charm of the stately home was preserved thanks to the careful restoration. As early as 2001, the building ensemble then awoke from its slumber and welcomed its first guests in a family atmosphere on a spacious site. Since then, it has been an elegant and cosy retreat for Moselle holidaymakers. In 2020, the Brennfleck family acquired the wine romantic hotel Richtershof. Since then, they have been running the historic house with a great deal of passion for the regional specialities and dedication to the hospitality industry. The entire team is passionate about preserving and continuously developing the uniqueness of this place of pleasure.
