From our quietly located hotel in the winegrowing village of Mülheim an der Mosel, you can start your excursions immediately. Discover the picturesque landscape by bike, on foot or by boat. Or combine your pleasure holiday with a visit to the surrounding towns with their historical charm.
Cycling
The cycle paths along the Moselle promise both a feast for the eyes and the palate. With your own bike or a rented e-bike, you can set off directly from the hotel on varied paths through the vineyards, along the river, into the Hunsrück and the Eifel. You set the pace: leisurely along the river valley with (refreshment) stops at romantic river sections or sportily up the heights. We rent e-bikes with the latest technology from the Akkuladen Zeltingen bike rental company. These offer a first-class service, including an emergency and breakdown service. Six of the bikes are permanently available on site at all times.

Hiking on the Moselle brings body and soul into balance. A multitude of well-signposted hiking trails will lead you to the most beautiful (view) spots in the region. But already the way is the goal. In harmony with nature, you can go on pilgrimage and hike at your own pace. Directly from our hotel, you walk through the Sonnenlay vineyard site, which is literally spoiled with particularly abundant sunshine. Old mills as well as the Veldenzer Bach and Frohnbach streams adorn the scenery. You can also hike a section of the Mosel Camino and the new Mosel Steig.
City trips
Vineyards, forests and meadows - this picture-book idyll surrounds Mülheim an der Mosel and the wine romantic hotel Richtershof. But as much as this backdrop invites you to linger, the surrounding area beckons with further sights. For example, drive to Wittlich, the gateway to the Eifel and Moselle. Or explore the old town of Bernkastel-Kues. Walk in historical footsteps in the Roman city of Trier or spend time in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Visiting castles and museums, combined with restaurant visits, will give you a great insight into the cultural and culinary heritage of the Moselle region.
Tee off in a dream setting
If you are a passionate golfer, we have good news for you: There are four golf clubs at an indirect distance from the hotel. The closest one is the Golf Club Trier. Around 30 kilometres from the Weinromantikhotel, the course is located in the beautiful Moselle valley, framed by forests and vineyards. The 18-hole golf course has varied, partly challenging golf holes, bunker landscapes and water hazards as well as a practice area for golfers of all levels. As a hotel guest, you receive a 10% green fee reduction here.
